सत्यखबर, असंध (रोहताश वर्मा) – गांव उपलाना के लॉर्ड शिवा किडस स्कूल में बुधवार को खसरा रूबैला टीकाकरण अभियान को लेकर ग्राम सरपंच रमा चौहान ने शिविर का रिबन काटकर उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर डॉ यशपाल ने बताया कि खसरा रूबैला टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत यह टीका 15 वर्ष से कम उम्र के सभी बच्चों को लगाया जाएगा। यह टीका इस आयु वर्ग के सभी बच्चों को बिना लैंगिक, जातीय, साम्प्रदायिक या धार्मिक भेदभाव के लगाया जायेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि इसे स्कूलों, सामुदायिक केंद्रों, ऑगनवाडी केन्द्रों और सरकारी स्वास्थ्य केन्द्रों पर लगाया जाएगा। इस अभियान में लगाया गया यह टीका बच्चों को अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा प्रदान करेंगा। खसरा-रूबैला का टीका पूर्ण रूप से सुरक्षित है एवं इसके कोई दुष्प्रभाव नही होते। यह टीका खसरे के साथ साथ रूबैला रोग में एक लम्बी अवधि की प्रतिरक्षा देता है।
