अक्सर लोग थोड़े से पैसों के लालच में रसोई गैस सिलेंडर में लगने वाला रबड़ पाइप हल्की क्वालिटी का लगा लेते हैं और फिर उसे चैक तक नहीं करते। यही सब कुछ हुआ रेवाड़ी के गांव शहबाजपुर में, जहाँ घर में चाय बनाते वक्त अचानक सिलेंडर फाटने से लगी। इस आगजनी में हज़ारो का सामान जलकर राख हो गया। ग्रामीणों ने अपने स्तर पर आग को बुझाया, लेकिन बड़ा हादसा होने से टल गया। पीड़ित परिवार के इस बुजुर्ग की माने तो वह सुबह गैस पर चाय बना रहा था, तभी वह घर के बाहर खड़े दूध वाले से दूध लेने चला गया तो अचानक एक धमाके के साथ सिलेंडर फट गया और घर में आग लग गई। पड़ौस के लोगो ने अपने स्तर पर फायर ब्रिगेड आने से पहले आग पर काबू पा लिया। पास के कमरे में इनका 10 वर्षीय पोता सो रहा था, जिसे बड़ी मुश्किल से बाहर निकाला, लेकिन वहाँ रखा सारा सामान जलकर राख हो गया और घर के सभी सदस्य बाहर होने के कारण बच गए ।
