जिले की स्पैशल स्टाफ सोनीपत पुलिस ने मादक पदार्थ तस्करी की महिला आरोपी को गिरफतार किया है। गिरफतार आरोपी सुमित्रा पत्नी राजू निवासी गन्दा नाला आदर्श नगर शहर सोनीपत की रहने वाली है।
इस प्रकरण की विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुये बताया कि स्पैशल स्टाफ सोनीपत में नियुक्त स0उ0नि0 अशोक कुमार कल सांय अपनी पुलिस पार्टी के साथ अपराधियों एवं असामाजिक तत्वों की खोज मे गन्दा नाला आदर्श नगर सोनीपत की सीमा में मौजूद था कि इन्हे एक महिला पौलोथिन सहित संदिग्ध अवस्था में घुमती हुई दिखाई दी। जिसको नियमानुसार काबू करके नाम व पता पूछा तो अपनी पहचान सुमित्रा पत्नी राजू निवासी गन्दा नाला आदर्श नगर शहर सोनीपत केे रूप में दी। पर्यवेक्षण अधिकारी की उपस्थिति में तलाशी लेने पर इसके कब्जा से अवैध गांजापती मिली। जिसका बाद मे वजन करने पर 1 किलो 30 ग्राम मिला। गिरफतार आरोपी के विरूद्ध मादक द्रव्य निरोधक अधिनियम के अन्र्तगत थाना सिविल लाईन सोनीपत में अभियोग दर्ज किया गया है। प्रारम्भिक पूछताछ करने पर गिरफतार आरोपी ने अपने किये अपराध की स्वीकारोक्ति करते हुये बताया कि इस अवैध गांजापती को बिहार से लाकर यंहा खुदरा भाव में बेचकर मुनाफा कमाना था। बाजार मे इस अवैध गांजा पत्ती का मूल्य लगभग 20 हजार रूपये बताया गया है। गिरफतार महिला आरोपी को पहले भी मादक पदार्थ तस्करी के मामले मे गिरफतार किया गया था। गिरफतार आरोपी को न्यायालय में पेशकर न्यायालय के आदेशानुसार न्यायिक हिरासत जेल भेज दिया गया है।
