satya khabar chandigarh – Haryana Government has extended the last date for admission to the first year of undergraduate classes in all the colleges of the state till December 10, 2021.
Sharing more information in this regard an official spokesperson said that various government, government-aided and private colleges of the state had repeatedly requested the Higher Education Department to re-open the admission portal for first-year graduate students.
Hence, the department has extended the last date for admission till December 10, 2021, while new registrations will be held till December 9, 2021.
With the objective of making the people of Tricity aware of the folk art and culture and genres of Haryana, the North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala in collaboration with Ministry of Art and Culture, Government of India is organizing a four-day ragni and song festival, under the 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. These programmes are being organized every day at 5 pm from December 16 to 19, 2021 at Kalagram, Manimajra, Chandigarh.
Giving detailed information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that this would be the first time that the people of the Tricity would be able to enjoy Ragni and Songs together in this programme. He said that in this programme well-known folk artists and musicians of Haryana would present their respective genres. He said that on the first day of the programme, Rakesh Bharania will start with Ragni and Pradeep Rai with Nidana song on December 16, while on December 17, Master Ranbir will entertain the people with his Ragni and Dharamveer will perform songs. Similarly, on December 18, famous folk singer Bali Sharma and famous singer Sham Lal will perform their songs. On the last day of the function, on December 19, famous folk singer Smt. Sangeeta Jangra Sharma and singer Seonath will enthrall the audiences with their songs
Haryana State Haj Committee has invited online applications for Haj-2022 by January 31, 2022.
Giving information in this regard, Executive Officer of the Committee, Sh.Subhandeen Bhatti said that the person who wishes to have training and become trainer for Haj-2022 can apply on the website of Haj Committee
i.e. www.hajcommittee.gov.in by December 20, 2021. There should be no criminal case against the applicant. Applicants should have received both doses of COVID vaccine and attended Haj Yatra. Besides this, an applicant should have good mental and physical health and have basic computer knowledge.
He said that Government officers and officials who went to Saudi Arabia as Haj Assistants, Haj officers and Khadim-ul-Hujjaj will also be eligible for training. He said that as per the service conditions fixed by Haj Committee of India, State Haj Committee would select the candidates for training.
Haryana Government has directed the officers and employees of the State to remain present in the office and avoid tour in view of the upcoming ‘Haryana Vidhan Sabha session’ starting from December 17, 2021.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that on behalf of the Chief Secretary, directions have been given to all the Administrative Secretaries of the State Government, Heads of Departments, Boards and Managing Directors of the Corporation that the ‘Haryana Vidhan Sabha session’ will commence from December 17, 2021. The presence of officers and employees of the offices should be ensured for the preparation and for the smooth running of the work during the session. He said that no officer or employee should go on leave without the prior approval of the competent authority and should get their leaves sanctioned only in view of unavoidable reasons.
Historic increase in the notified services of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) from 16 to 43 services now
Haryana Government is continuously striving to ensure that the welfare services are delivered to the eligible beneficiaries in an efficient and time bound manner. The State Government has strenuously worked to ensure its vision of Good-Governance in all its initiatives. The State Government has further notified 43 services of HSVP under administrative control of Department of Town and Country planning, under the Right to Service Act 2014, upon the recommendations of Chief Commissioner, Haryana Right to Service Commission, Sh. TC Gupta.
This has led to significant increase in the list of notified services of HSVP to 43 from existing 16 services. Many important services like Issuance of Possession Certificate has been notified with the new right to service timeline of 3 days, Removal of Encroachment within the timeline of 15 days, Cleaning of road/berm within the timeline of 5 days, Maintenance of Park-Horticulture within the timeline of 7 days and more such services have been added with an aim to curb corruption, reduce hassle of the applicant beneficiaries and also ensuring the delivery of notified services in a time bound manner.
Also the timelines for delivery of certain important notified services that have a bearing on every day lives of the people have also been significantly reduced such as Transfer Permission letter in death case which was previously delivered in 45 days has been reduced to 4 days, Issuance of Re-Allotment Letter from 30 days to 4 days, Issuance of Conveyance Deed from 20 days to 5 days, Fresh Building Plan- Residential from 30 days to 3 days, Issuance of No Dues Certificate from 10 days to 3 days. This will go a long way in affording ease of living to the people who would stand to benefit from these services.
Recently the State Government has implemented AAS (Auto Appeal System) which is also a very robust initiative of the State Government towards putting multi checks in the process of delivery of services. This appeal system sets accountability of the concerned officers and also supports the beneficiaries to track their process.
